Govinda is an Indian movie actor who’s famous for his performances in Bollywood comedy movies. Govinda was born in a Punjabi family in Mumbai.  His father’s name is Arun Kumar Ahuja and his Mother’s name is Nirmala Devi. Govinda was wed to Sunita Ahuja and they have two kids Narmada Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. Govinda joined the Congress party in 2004 and won the Lok Sabha elections in North Mumbai. Govinda’s career began with the movie ‘Ilzaam’ which was a super hit at the box office.  Following this, he worked in several films and his work was valued by all.  Govinda’s movies between 1990 and 1999 known for his best performance and have been valued by both critics and viewers, and he got success in the box office.  Throughout his Bollywood career, Govinda has obtained many awards linked to movies.  Govinda has been given four occasions Zee Cine Award, after Filmfare Special Award and after Filmfare Best Comedian Award.  Some of his best super hit movies are Shola Aur Shabnam, Hero No.1, Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Dulhe Raja, Partner and many more.
