Sharukh Khan was born to Mir Taj Muhammad Khan and Lateef Fatima on 2nd November, 1965 in New Delhi, India. He was given the birth name Shahrukh Khan and he prefers his name to be written as Shah Rukh Khan, and is referred to by the acronym SRK. By his outstanding work, dedications, lovers & fans also gives him some nicknames “King Khan”, “Badshah”, “The Badshah of Bollywood”, “King of Romance”, “The King of Bollywood” and so on. His name literally stands for “Face of the King”. SRK was born and brought up in Delhi, India. He was a brilliant student of his time and an all rounder in games. In his schooling at St. Columba’s School, he won the prestigious “Sword of Honour”. He was one of the finest captain of his football, hockey and cricket teams all at the same time. He married to Gauri Khan on 25 October 1991 and they have three children, son Aryan Khan (Born: 1997), son AbRam (Born: 2013) and a beautiful daughter Suhana (Born: 2000). King Khan started out his career by appearing in several TV serials during 1988 to1990. He made his film debut with the commercially successful film Deewana in 1992. He also began to achieve success at the box office from his villainous roles in films like Darr in 1993, Baazigar in 1993, and Anjaam in 1994. As for his work & dedications in the Indian film industry, he won Eight Filmfare Best Actor Awards, which is highest by any actor and had great box-office success.
